Our Vision

The Indigenous Rights Fund envisions a future where Indigenous peoples live in peace on their ancestral lands, free from the threats of exploitation, displacement or encroachment. We believe the Indigenous traditional ways of life - rooted in centuries of sustainable practices - are essential for protecting the environment and combating climate change. For this, Indigenous Peoples rights including their human rights must be acknowledged and respected, just as the rights of the western society are universally upheld. 

Our foundation is committed to ensure that Indigenous communities receive the support, resources, and recognition necessary to thrive as the rightful stewards of their land. Through legal action, advocacy, and policy change we aim to make Indigenous sovereignty and thriving traditions a cornerstone of global solutions for combating climate change and for a just and sustainable future—for the earth, nature, and all the people.
